Mid Missouri Festival of Faiths Conference

“Festival of Faiths” is April 20th and 21st!  The “Festival of Faiths,” is a significant community event aimed at promoting understanding and appreciation among members of different religions in mid-Missouri.  It will feature speakers from the Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, Jewish, and Christian (Catholic and Protestant) traditions.  While the event will be held at First Presbyterian and First United Methodist churches, it is open to all faiths.

Event: Concert featuring David LaMotte Singer, songwriter, author, peace activist.


Day 2

April 21, 2018 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM

First United Methodist Church

201 Monroe Street, Jefferson City, Missouri.

Event: Plenaries, workshops, panel discussion and lunch Speakers and presenters include:

- Paul F. Knitter, Professor Emeritus, Union Theological Seminary

- Chris Caras, Council on American-Islamic Relations

- Sean Thompson, International Order of Buddhist Ministers

- Dan Reich, Curator and Director of Education of the Holocaust Museum and Learning Center at the St. Louis Jewish Federation

- David LaMotte, Singer, Songwriter, Peace Activist

- Brammika Balamurugan, Junior College Student from Sri Lanka

- Shradda Amatya, Freshmen College Student from India
